Most recently, Tchibo collected accolades from several organizations. Awards include The German Ethics Network’s “Business Ethics Award” for becoming a 100% sustainable business in the coffee and non-food sector. In 2013, the German consumer initiative collaborated with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Environmental Agency to award Tchibo the Gold Medal for Sustainability Communications in Retail in a consistent and credible manner. Last year also saw Tchibo receiving the European CSR award and the German CSR award, both for responsible business conduct, and the German Supply Chain Sustainability Award.
